On Wednesday, May 2, 2012, a neo-Nazi militia leader killed four people and himself in Gilbert, Maricopa County, Arizona. (In 1912, many Mormons who had fled the Mormon colonies in Mexico due to the actions of the forces of Pancho Villa settled in Gilbert. Villa's skull was stolen from his grave in 1926, according to some accounts and denials , by members of Skull and Bones .) Jason "J.T." Ready (born February 17, 1973) was a former lance corporal Marine before being demoted and discharged from the Corps for bad behavior. NFL Suicides: 12 in 25 Years

Another American football player has died by suicide. That makes a dozen acknowledged suicides of relatively well-known National Football League (NFL) players in the last 25 years. Junior Seau's girlfriend returned from her time at the gym to their home on the 600 block of South The Strand, Oceanside, California. She discovered Seau, 43, in a bedroom, a gunshot wound to the chest, a revolver near his lifeless body. Two weeks earlier, another retired NFL player had also died by suicide. Tiaina Baul "Junior" Seau, Jr., (January 19, 1969 – May 2, 2012) was an American football linebacker. A ten-time All-Pro and 12-time Pro Bowl selection, Seau was a member of the NFL 1990s All-Decade Team. He played college football at the University of Southern California and was the progenitor of the "NFL-USC linebacker". Kenny McKinley's suicide is the latest such event among NFL players. Here is a list of some famed, known American football players who have died by suicide. 2010 Kenny McKinley, a Denver Broncos (NFL) wide receiver who was out for the season recovering from knee surgery, was found dead of an apparent suicide September 20, 2010, Monday afternoon at his home, according to the Denver Post . The body of McKinley, 23, was found by authorities in a second-floor bedroom with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound at around 3:25 p.m. MDT. A second-year player out of South Carolina, he had undergone season-ending surgery for a recurring knee injury in August 2010.
