In his paintings of women in the rustic environment of South India, artist Elayaraja has brought out various facets of the these women in 22 oil works on display at the Abstract Art Gallery. The life like paintings captured the natural beauty of the women involved in different household activities. Elayaraja is hailed by art lovers for his traditional and realistic style. "He is an artist who follows the traditional style in these modern times. He is a realistic artist who does a lot of portraitures and so on." "They are absolutely beautiful. He has captured the Tamilian face absolutely to the core, the Dravidian face. Especially the typical woman in the rural areas and caught them in various moods and various activities."

Harvey Milk's Kool Aid

Gus Van Sant's Milk does not deal overtly with the fact that Harvey Milk's assassination occurred only days after Jonestown. In the Sean Penn starring film, it is mentioned that there was Kool-Aid at Milk's funeral, but that's about the only reference. Recently, I posted extensively here about the links between Jonestown, Milk, and Moscone. The massacre at Jonestown was the precursor to the assassinations of Harvey Milk and George Moscone, which took place nine days after the Jonestown events, on November 27, 1978. Milk certainly realized what was in the wind, as I note in The Copycat Effect and prepared for the link: "[Harvey] Milk’s less-than-a-month-old will requested that his body be cremated, and by his direction, the ashes were enshrined with a mixture of bubble bath (to denote his gay lifestyle) and Kool Aid (to signify the People’s Temple victims)." Xie Qiuping - World's Longest Hair Women, Rare Photos...

How long is the longest hair? According to Guinness the world's longest documented hair belongs to Xie Qiuping (China) at 5.627 m (18 ft 5.54 in) when measured on May 8, 2004. She has been growing her hair since 1973 from the age of 13. The images below are of Xie Qiuping caring for her hair. The world record for long hair belongs to xie qiuping of china, who grew it to more than 18 feet long. i wonder if the following ladies would've though that was going too far.
